Arrived

Well we safely arrived today around 12:45 PM. Our trip was very smooth. We made a few pit stops for food(Hardees bisquits and gravy) and restroom breaks,and still managed to make pretty good timing. On the way we decided to stop in Metropolis, IL which is famous because of Superman...boasting a tall Superman statue in its square. After seeing advertisements we decided to veer off the beaten path(3 miles to be exact) and check out the statue. It was awesome!! LOL.

It took us awhile to get checked in simply because we had four rooms, but the process went smoothly and everyone is very kind. Our "resort", as it is referred to, is very nice! It has two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, free fresh popcorn, beverages and is fully stocked w/ pans and kitchen supplies for cooking! We will post pics of what our room looks like.

We are now getting ready to head out and look for some food!!!
